Hey, I’m Viet William-Quoc Nguyen. I’m a software engineer with 5+ years building embedded and full-stack systems across startups in the Bay Area and as a technical co-founder. I’ve worked on everything from FAA-regulated drone systems to freight logistics platforms, taking products from concept through deployment.

I’m also the founder of Vietnam Hearts, a volunteer collective providing educational programs for disadvantaged children in Ho Chi Minh City. Since founding it in early 2025, I’ve raised over $3,000 and mobilized 100+ volunteers to serve 80+ children.

  • Raised $120k in pre-seed funding for a freight matching logistics platform valued at $1M from Antler.
  • Led market validation (10+ user interviews), technical design, product and development for MVP v0.
  • Designed, developed, and deployed software services (Vercel, Python) for pilot shippers and carriers.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam | February 2025 – Present

  • Leader of a grassroots volunteer organization, raised over $3000, recruited over 100 volunteers through meetups and online social media to serve over 80+ disadvantaged children in Vietnam.
  • Developed a full stack Python, FastAPI volunteer management system for users, handling user preferences, authentication, email notifications, scheduling, and escalation notices for teaching operations.

  • Lead test and verification engineer for image loading software loading binary files across CAN and UART buses.
  • Built test framework and CI/CD pipeline for reliability on system functionality to engineering requirements.
